Filling The Gap

Poem 1

Filling the Gap

Great things have small beginnings.
Little drops of water that makes the ocean,
Little bits of money that fill the bank,
Yes, great things have small beginnings.

Great things have small beginnings.
Little steps that walk the thousand miles,
Little seeds planted that makes the harvest,
Yes, great things have small beginnings.

Great things have small beginnings.
Little flashes of light that makes the vision,
Little words of prayer that birth manifestations,
Yes, great things have small beginnings.

Great things have small beginnings.
Little steps that reduce the distance,
Little dots that fill the gaps,
Yes, great things have small beginnings.

Poem 2

FILLING THE GAPS

This life is a puzzle
Which cannot be played out of knowledge.
Wisdom is the key
To open the door between life and life.
How can a man see himself in the darkness
When there is no light that falls on his body?
How can a man repaint himself in a different colour
When his body is a broken wall?
To fill the gaps of life.
You have to be with knowledge, wisdom and understanding
Those are the ink and pen to write the missing words.

Poem 3

It is You and I

Not to I alone, but to you and I,
The ancient left a mission,
To wipe out all oppression,
To burn against all forms of colonialism,
To hold up the staff of leadership,
To live in tight partnership,
They possessed a vision,
Not to I alone, but to you and I.

I am hopeless and helpless alone,
But together we can be a backbone,
We are the answer to our distress,
But you do not care-less,
They have shown us the cavity,
So set aside your apathy.

We can be the filing,
If only we are willing.
The baton was handed us,
Therefore, we are the chosen,
Should we now break the cycle thus?

Pleases, Choose not to ignore,
Save this drowning generation,
That is all our predecessors ask for.

Good luck to contestants.
